I was responsible for end to end UI development of this feature on all mobile platforms of Flipkart where the users can buy the complete look at once. The looks were curated with complementary items that can be bought as a bundle by the customer. This feature helped Flipkart to increase unit sales and drive sales across various verticals.
There are currently ~300 collections across categories varying from from fashion to electronics. It was unique how this flow increased the overall footfall on the product landing pages. Through this flow there was ~55% increase in the units per order, and ~40% increase in the overall click-through-rates, compared to the flows in which collections were sold on the website.
I was the core member of the cart, checkout and payments team at Flipkart and shipped multiple products in the pipeline for ~100M+ users using React/React Native.
I worked on an address intelligent system that assists users from all demographies and regions in adding delivery addresses. The system helped in autocorrecting the addresses based on the geolocation data and making relevant suggestion to the user.
Working with the order management and operations team, this feature led to 10% increase in successful transactions without returns.
